We are currently accepting submissions for a charity app to receive our holistic app marketing programme for FREE. Please send your submissions to charity@yodelmobile.com by the deadline: 11.59pm Friday 7th June, 2019 to enter.
Over the last few years, we’ve seen an increase in charities launching innovative apps to deepen digital engagement with their businesses. The benefits of utilizing mobile capabilities include harnessing an incredibly effective channel to increase visibility, outreach and interaction with a charity’s services. Whilst the opportunities of mobile endless, executing an effective app marketing strategy can be a costly and overwhelming task for charities.
That’s why last year, the team here at launched a charity app marketing initiative, offering a select charity, with an app central to the organisation and its mission, our app marketing consultancy, for free. Our team of app marketing experts were on hand to support the charity’s team in its app marketing mission for a defined project period, and due to the huge impact we made last year, we are bringing the initiative back for 2019.
How can we help your charity app?
We’ve had the pleasure of transforming app businesses through our services as one of the early providers in the app and mobile marketing space. Due to launching and scaling hundreds of apps in our time, we understand that implementing a successful mobile and app marketing strategy for an app can be a challenge.
The Yodel Mobile team’s mission is to find another charity app to dedicate both its niche app marketing expertise and resources, in order to aid a deserving charity in reaching their app marketing goals and targets over a defined project period.
Our holistic app marketing programme focuses on acquiring, engaging and retaining high-value users. The top priorities include mobile strategy, mobile search, analytics and attribution tracking and implementation, App Store Optimisation (ASO), onboarding, A/B testing, mobile CRM, app review and feedback management, social sharing and paid user acquisition. We work closely with our clients to create the perfect blend to execute a strategy with maximum impact.
Last year, we had the pleasure of working with the Breast Cancer Care App, and helped them to achieve great results by increasing engagement with the app and ensuring it landed in the hands of users who would most benefit from it.
Submission details:
If you work for a charity that owns an app which is central to the organisation, we would like to hear from you.
Please send your submissions to charity@yodelmobile.com by the deadline: 11.59pm Friday 7th June, 2019.
In your email, please outline:
- Details of your charity
- Details of your app and its value to the wider organisation
- Details of your current app marketing efforts
- Details of your team managing the app/digital strategy
- Please outline what you would like to achieve from our app consultancy services and support
Please note: our process requires a very hands-on approach; we bridge our clients’ marketing, product and development teams and support implementation and performance tracking, rather than just handing off strategies in their initial stages. Due to this, it is essential that your organisation has the manpower and resource to implement agreed-upon recommendations, including a small amount of development work, and are able to work closely with the team to create an internal structure and workflow that is essential for long-term mobile marketing success.
We encourage all to share this post with charities they think would be suitable. Once we have reviewed the submissions and selected a charity to support, we will contact the chosen charity and kick off this exciting project. Please head over to our website: for more information about our services and offering.
