We’re thrilled to share that Mick Rigby, CEO of Yodel Mobile, has been named Marketing Trailblazer at The Drum Awards for Marketing EMEA 2026.
The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday 3 June at Evolution London, bringing together standout brands, agencies, marketers and creative leaders from across EMEA. The Drum describes the awards as a celebration of marketing teams that connect, inspire and deliver tangible results.

For us, this recognition is a proud moment. It reflects Mick’s long-standing commitment to building smarter, more effective approaches to app growth, and to helping brands bring clarity to one of the most complex areas of modern marketing.
Mick was awarded for his position as a defining figure in modern app marketing, recognised for challenging the acquire-first mindset and championing a more sustainable, lifecycle-led approach to growth. Through Yodel Mobile, he has helped professionalise app marketing as a discipline, shaping the frameworks, standards and talent that continue to influence the sector today. Over the past 12 months, that leadership has also supported a new phase of growth for the agency, including further US expansion and Yodel Mobile’s acquisition by NP Digital, establishing the business as a global centre of excellence in app growth. Mick was shortlisted in the Trailblazer in Marketing category alongside leaders from Stakked, Seen Connects, The7Stars and Ykone. The category recognises marketers helping define marketing’s next chapter – a fitting nod to the work Mick has led across mobile strategy, app store optimisation, paid user acquisition, retention and full-funnel growth.
At Yodel Mobile, we’ve always believed app growth should be clear, accountable and commercially focused. Under Mick’s leadership, the team has helped ambitious brands move beyond surface-level acquisition and build stronger foundations for long-term growth.
This award is also a celebration of the Yodel Mobile team: the strategists, creatives, analysts, ASO specialists and growth experts who turn complex app challenges into focused action every day.
The win follows a period of awards success for both Yodel Mobile and Mick. Yodel Mobile was recently named on The Sunday Times Best Place to Work list, for 2026, making it the second year in a row we’ve been included. Whilst in May, Mick was included in the BIMA 100, an award that celebrates the people shaping the UK’s digital and technology industry.
A huge congratulations to Mick – and a big thank you to The Drum for organising a fantastic evening and recognising the people, teams and organisations shaping what comes next in marketing.
