We began with a deep dive into the app’s ecosystem, conducting a comprehensive app audit to analyse its target audience, user journey, and desired actions. To further refine our strategy, we performed a competitive analysis, identifying trends, strengths, and gaps in the competitive landscape. These insights shaped a tailored keyword optimisation strategy to enhance the app’s visibility, boost downloads, and create a stronger foothold in the market.
Leveraging the audit findings, we provided actionable feedback on the app’s design and user experience, recommending new features to make the app more intuitive and engaging. These enhancements improved functionality and aligned the app with user expectations, ensuring a seamless journey that encouraged retention and active usage, significantly increasing user engagement metrics. Yodel Mobile’s mobile consultation experts also proposed the incorporation of gamification elements to further boost user interaction and long-term engagement.
To clearly communicate the app’s purpose and showcase its unique benefits, we produced an engaging explainer video which would also be leveraged as a preview video in the app stores. This early touch-point education was created with the aim of conveying the product experience and the value of the eczema tracking features. This high-impact visual asset effectively conveyed the app’s value proposition, driving sign-ups and increasing user understanding of key features.
To maximize app visibility, we implemented a comprehensive App Store Optimization (ASO) strategy, focusing on high-performing keywords, compelling descriptions, and optimized app store visuals. Additionally, we launched Apple Search Ads to target high-intent users, driving traffic and downloads while ensuring sustained engagement. These efforts collectively enhanced the app’s discoverability and visibility in the app stores.
