ASO Growth Lead

The Role

Yodel Mobile’s App Growth Team of the Year is looking for an experienced ASO practitioner to lead and grow the ASO team within the company. Our ambitions for 2021 are big and ASO is one of our core service offerings, which we’re looking to take to the next level.

As the ASO Growth Lead, you will be in charge of leading our ASO service alongside our Growth Directors. You will be responsible for managing our ASO client portfolio, whilst identifying ways of optimising and streamlining our processes. You’ll work closely with the ASO team members to create and deliver effective recommendations as well as lead ASO strategies that will enable our clients to reach their goals and objectives.

Another key area that you’ll be in charge of is driving ASO innovation within the business. We’re looking for someone that is passionate about the space and will not shy away from a challenge to iterate and continue to build out the ASO service!

Responsibilities

  • Client management: Managing and establishing close relationships with all of our ASO client accounts
  • Strategic planning and delivery: ensure our ASO service drives success for our clients on the app stores
  • Innovate: Continue to challenge and innovate existing ASO processes to provide greater value for clients and a competitive edge for the business
  • Service management: Brief team members and partners on deliverables – which will be reviewed and signed off by yourself
  • Team training: Manage and train a growing team of ASO managers and executives who will support you on the delivery of our ASO service
  • Build a team: Support in hiring and building the ASO team in-line with the business’ requirements
  • Work cross-departmentally: Align with wider growth and paid growth teams to establish strong synergies within our service
  • Thought leadership: Support New Business and Marketing teams with thought leadership and relevant ASO content 

What we’re looking for

  • 2-3 years of hands-on ASO experience with an app publisher or agency
  • Proven track record of growing organic traffic
  • Experience in leading ASO projects and developing successful ASO strategies
  • Confident and outspoken in client-facing situations, with excellent presentation skills
  • Experience in using ASO analytics, data tools, and keyword optimisation processes  – strong data proficiency
  • Have a real interest in the fast-growing world of mobile and apps
  • Someone who can lead and inspire others to perform at their best
  • Able to challenge and innovate existing processes to drive success
  • Self-motivated, curious and resilient
  • Excellent organisational skills including prioritisation, scheduling and time management
