New Business Executive

The person we are looking for:

In this New Business Executive role, you will be responsible for proactively sourcing, developing and supporting the closing of new business opportunities in the UK and globally.  You will need to be self-motivated, knowledgeable and assured, as you will be tasked with “selling” Yodel Mobile's 'Fit to Market' and App Launch programmes.  

The New Business Executive will have a number of key roles:

1. Design, support and manage the overall new business outbound strategy
2. New business outreach: spot opportunities, generate leads and convert “outreach” endeavours into new business campaigns and new clients through traditional research, phone calls, and email activity
3. Build the new business pipeline

The New Business Exec will be part of the Yodel Mobile marketing team: a Marketing Manager and the CEO.

Roles, responsibilities and requirements:

In this role, you responsibilities will include:

  • Generating and sourcing new leads and business sales
  • Taking ownership of every aspect of the sales life-cycle in order to consistently exceed targets
  • Undertaking research on new categories and clients
  • Produce (in conjunction with our marketing manager) new business specific contact including email outreach, sales brochures and presentations
  • Attending client meetings
  • Own all meeting follow-up process and conversions
  • Demonstrating an ability convert learnings and develop the best approach for new business outreach and attaining opportunities for the business

What we are looking for?

  • Ideally 1 – 2 year’s experience in a sales or business development role, although we would consider exceptional candidates with limited experience
  • Experience with delivering and managing process
  • Confident with Excel and PowerPoint – manipulating data and writing succinct and impressive presentations
  • Not essential, but experience with sales pipline softwear such as Salesforce would be useful
  • Involvement in pitching process for new business – from industry research, to producing new business proposals right through to delivering confident new business pitches
  • A genuine passion to build a career within a fast-paced and highly rewarding marketing environment
  • Ideally you will have some relevant experience working within a sales environment, including a proven track record in client relationship management and B2B new business sale
  • A highly enthusiastic and ambitious demeanour

Social Campaign Manager

The person we are looking for:

If you are looking for the next step in your Advertising Campaign career, apply to this Social Campaign Manager role today. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the strategy and delivery of our social mobile acquisition campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter.

In this Social Campaign Manager role, you will be working closely with the Key Account Manager to manage the social campaigns for the client base. You will be looking after the life-cycle and analytics of all Social Advertising Campaigns. This includes managing a large budget, ensuring timelines are kept to, analysing the data found and tracking trends.

This is a client facing role and the chosen individual will be confident in their ability and understanding.

Roles, responsibilities and requirements:

In this Social Campaign Manager position, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Working closely with differing clients, large and small, to organise and manage their Social campaigns
  • Scheduling and organising life-cycles, deadlines and timelines
  • Working closely with the Senior Account Manager and keeping them updated with reports on the campaigns
  • Autonomously managing the annual budget for all Social Advertising Campaigns
  • Analysing the data from the campaigns to track key trends and insights
  • Help shape, advise on and influence clients’ mobile media strategy

What we are looking for?

  • 2 years + experience in a mobile or digital role
  • Experince with delivering and managing performance media campaigns
  • Confident with Excel and Powerpoint – pivot tables, formulas and manipulating data
  • A numerical or analytical academic background – preferably a Maths/BSc degree
  • Experience working on and managing complete Facebook Campaign lifecycles
  • Prior experience managing an annual budget
  • Someone who has experience and enjoys working with a variety of different clients
  • Knowledge of Facebook Business Manager (essential)

App Growth Specialist

The person we are looking for:

Yodel Mobile is on the lookout for App Growth Specialist to join our growing team! Leading both the execution and development of our unique app marketing programme, Fit to Market, we need an app specialist knowledgeable in relevant skills such as ASO, mobile search, discoverability strategies, app virality, mCRM and mobile analytics platforms and tools.

We’re seeking an individual who is innovative, creative thinking and experimental. You will need to merge creative and analytical methods to plan, pitch and lead strategies that will aid in maximising impact of the app conversion funnel and drive acquisition for our clients’ apps. You will also delve deeply into marketing performance, engagement and retention strategies and provide regular trend analytical and marketing insights.

Previous experience in mobile is a must.

Data Analyst

The person we are looking for:

We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst to join the Yodel Mobile team. We want you to apply your excellent analytical skills to draw key insights from complex datasets, carry out regular reporting and aid in the development of our clients’ app marketing strategies.

Working closely with the rest of the team, you will need to monitor the performance of clients’ apps using analytics and attribution tools, draw insights on user behaviours and feedback and identify conversion optimisation opportunities. You will also help support managers with any help they require regarding the execution and development of our unique app marketing programme, “Fit to Market.”

1-3+ years working in an analytical field is required.

  • Using mobile first analytics tools like Mixpanel
  • Ability to communicate a  clear narrative from complex inputs
  • Setting up mobile advertising campaigns and monitoring campaign performance

  • Excellent Excel skills or good experience with other spreadsheet analytic and visualisation packages  
  • Also support managers with Fit to Market programme across mCRM, competitive research, discoverability, onboarding and social sharing

Junior and Mid-Level Designers

The person we are looking for:

As a Creative Designer you will be working with the team to help plan and pitch creative directions for our clients and lead in the creation of visual assets.

Using your extensive Photoshop and Illustrator skills, you will create visually engaging, innovative and impactful mobile and web visuals for our wide-range of clients that are most effective in maximising conversion. This will include app store preview assets, campaign and promotional images for social and web, banners, emails, brand guidelines and more. A keen eye for detail is integral to ensure that the visuals are on-brand and visually engaging, with a proactive nature, ensuring feedback has been taken onboard to refine and make appropriate amends.

1-3 years of experience in a relevant role is required.

App Store Optimisation Manager

The person we are looking for:

Yodel Mobile is on the lookout for an excellent App Store Optimisation (ASO) Manager. We need someone to work closely with our ASO specialists to plan, strategise and execute successful projects. ASO is one of our essential app marketing services, driving the organic discoverability of our clients’ apps across the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

You should have have previous ASO experience, optimising both on-page and off-page app store elements to drive impressions, product page views, installs and downloads. A track-record of executing competitive analysis and keyword planning and implementation is ideal, along with keen eye for data, as you will need to work with ASO tools to both track and present implementations and use the learnings to optimise ASO strategies for clients across verticals.

Proficiency in additional languages is a bonus!
